Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Gerri started hairdressing at 14 and has worked continuously since. He has managed salons for some of the top names in the industry throughout the UK, trained countless stylists over the years, managed the salon on the QE11 ocean liner as well as working for Wella in Technical research & Development. He has worked on stage at The Royal Albert Hall for L’oreal, and he is an accomplished public speaker working regularly for Bumble & bumble on stage in London in front of salon owners from across the UK and Ireland. Gerri has a strong interest in the development and empowerment of the self and believes in the growth of the individual alongside a clear career path development.

He is an accomplished stylist with wigs and works with many clients in his private time through his connection with the charity mynewhair.org and many local cancer care units.

Gerri writes and reads for the Harrogate Talking Newspaper for the Blind. He is also a keen supporter of the Dementia Forward Charity. A runner and dog owner, he is married to his husband Andrew.
