Dangerfield & Keane Hair and Beauty salon partner with 97.2 Stray FM as radio sponsors for the Harrogate Race for Life for the 3rd year running

Dangerfield & Keane has announced that it will be working with 97.2 Stray FM as radio partners & sponsoring Harrogate’s Race For Life radio coverage for the third year, in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The move comes as Dangerfield & Keane continues to reinforce its position as one of Harrogate’s leading hair & beauty salons.

Soon to celebrate its second anniversary Dangerfield & Keane saw such positive results from the previous year’s sponsorship of the event that it wanted to consolidate the company’s link with such a worthwhile cause.

Last year’s Race For Life saw over 3000 local women walk, jog or run the 5 kilometre course at the Great Yorkshire Showground and raised over £150,000 in the process.

Gerri Keane, Director of Dangerfield & Keane said;

“I was amazed at the determination of women of all ages who completed the course. Many of the runners wore the name of a loved one touched by this dreadful disease – a disease that affects 1 in the 3 people in the UK. As a reward for the superb efforts of all involved it is only fitting that everyone should receive a small personal reward for raising money for this good cause. That is why every participant will be given a £10 voucher, available to download, towards any hair & beauty treatment in our salon on Cold Bath Road.”

Bumble & bumble

Bumble & bumble have yet again called on salon director Gerri Keane to speak on the subject of Salon Management at their forthcoming Immersion Course in London from the 21st October 2012. Gerri will speak as the director of a salon held up as an example of ‘best business practice’ for the third year running.

‘Its a great honour and something to be very proud of, but it would not be possible if it were not for the amazing team that works along side me at Dangerfield & Keane’ said Gerri.

Christmas opening hours

We are making it easier to get appointments in the run up to Christmas 2012. We will be opening  every Monday in December in the run up to the big day on the 25th. Call Shaun on for all your beauty and hair appointments.

BIG TIP; if you are female and you don’t want to discuss you Bikini wax with Shaun because you are embarrassed, (really! He has heard it all before!) you can just book waxing by the time slot, so speak to your therapist and then ask for 15, 30 or 45 min slots for  waxing appointments. No other details required… Simples!
